We say either "dost" or "arkadaş". Arkadaş literally means having/sharing the same back (arka=back), as friends have each other's back
In Portugal, we say "amigo"
In Yoruba tribe of Nigeria, "my friend" is referred to as "ore mi"
"gayyem" in Ilocano dialect from Philippines

In Iraq, where human rights saved our lives from those thieves, the people came out peaceful demonstrations and they were killed and injured by the corrupt government.

Please UNICEF am from Nigeria and I have a daughter with disability. Please we need your support for us to assist her needs. It takes a lot of finance to her therapies,special meals and medication

In Hausa we say Babbar ƙawa for female best friend and Babban Aboki for male best friend.
